Planned Lines
HYPACK® allows users to quickly
create planned survey lines to delineate
their survey area.
In the LINE EDITOR, users can enter an initial line
and then create a series of offset lines, in your
choice of several patterns. Planned lines can
be clipped to exactly fit your survey area using
a border file. The can have 2 or more segments
which may be either straight or curved.
HYPACK also includes routines with which users may
import lines created in a CAD/GIS package (DXF or DGN).
The CHANNEL DESIGN program enables you to create planned
lines by entering the channel geometry.
Users enter waypoints and side slope information for
each toe line, waypoints and chainage of the centerline
and any turning basin. CHANNEL DESIGN can then generate
planned lines at user-defined intervals for your entire
channel. Each line will contain the cross-sectional
design profile at the section.
CHANNEL DESIGN has been recently upgraded to handle
curved centerlines.
